Inuk film artist and mentor Lindsay McIntyre worked with two Inuit Futures Ilinniaqtuit, Kajola Moorewood and Jennifer Qupanuaq May, to create a multi-media installation for INUA, called Ajjigiingiluktaaqtugut (We Are All Different) (2020). The work is a reproduction of Lindsay’s late grandmother’s living room, with a vintage television playing a 17 minute animated documentary with hand-scratched cell animation and stop motion graphics. Kajola assisted Lindsay with the film’s animation and cell scratching, while Jennifer contributed to the recording, translating and editing of the film. Ajjigiingiluktaaqtugut (We Are All Different) is part of Lindsay’s ongoing investigation into her family’s past.
