The Inuit Art Foundation has partnered with Canada Council for the Arts (CCA) to provide one-on-one support to Inuit artists who are interested in applying for grant funding. A limited number of 15-minute appointments are available on a first come, first served basis to meet with CCA Program Officer, Isidra Cruz, on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 between 2 to 4pm ET.
To make this meeting as beneficial to you as possible, please take some time to prepare for the meeting in advance by:
Attending our workshop with Isidra Cruz on Feb. 27th to learn the basics of applying for funding, OR watch the recording
Considering which funding stream you’d like to apply for
Carefully reviewing the eligibility requirements and list of materials required for the application
Creating a short outline of the project you’d like to fund
Have 1 or 2 solid ideas of what you might like to discuss with Isidra

Isidra Cruzis a Mexican/Cree arts administrator and costume designer from George Gordon First Nation in Saskatchewan. She has worked with the imagineNATIVE Film + Media Festival, the Toronto Arts Council, the Ontario Arts Council and the Indigenous Community Performing Arts Fund.
