Join us for the second workshop in the The Ilisarniq Series, walking through the process of setting up a profile on the CCA website.
Let’s be real: Applying for funding through the Canada Council for the Arts portal can seem super daunting. Why don’t we work through it together?
Join us on Sept. 20 from 2-3:30pm ET for the next instalment of The Ilisarniq Series: Applying for Canada Council for the Arts Funds 101! In this workshop Heather Igloliorte will ask Julie Dobbin of CCA’s Creating, Knowing, and Sharing program to walk us through the process of setting up a profile on the CCA website, the critical first step before applying for any CCA arts funding. We will also talk about upcoming funding competitions and what you need to prepare in order to apply later this year.
We want to hear from you! What would you like to learn about creating a CCA profile and/or applying for funding? Tag us with your questions on social media and we’ll do our best to address them all during the event.
The Ilisarniq Series is a new series of workshops for all Inuit artists, curators, writers, and art administrators to learn new skills and expand their practices organized by the Inuit Art Foundation and Inuit Futures in Arts Leadership. Join us for practical tips on how to apply for funding, price your work, make new kinds of work and more!
*Update: Unfortunately, the recording of this workshop will not be made public, so please try to join us live!
