Artist-in-Residence Glenn Gear led a Sealskin Brooch-Making Workshop at Concordia University, marking the beginning of his year-long joint residency between Concordia University and the University of Winnipeg in 2020. Glenn showed participants how to carefully cut, sew, and bead sealskin into their own unique creations. Following the workshop, we celebrated the official launch of our project website with an amazing cake from Brittany’s Cakes & Pies, featuring the Inuit Futures logo designed by Sébastien Aubin and Jason Sikoak.
