Everyday Beauty: Makeup Workshop with Nauya Vidahl

Inuit Futures in Arts Leadership is proud to share the first workshop in the “De-ICE-olation” Online Artist Workshop Series! On Thursday, April 2, between 1:00 and 2:00pm, makeup artist Nauya Vidahl gave a one-hour long everyday beauty makeup workshop. This workshop was open to all.

The workshop took place online using Zoom. This workshop, like every De-ICE-olation workshop, is free.

Participants can follow along from home or just watch, and ask questions!

Nauya is an Inuk from Kangirsujuaq, Nunavik, currently residing in Montreal, where she is studying professional and theatrical makeup at Interdec/ LaSalle College while also working professionally as a makeup artist at Anton Designs. Nauya is trained and certified in makeup techniques for stage, fashion, editorial and everyday wear, as well as theatrical makeup and special effects; she especially loves drag and stage performance makeup and spends her free time applying her excellent makeup and sewing skills to creating Cosplay costumes and characters.
