The Inuit Futures project is proud to share the second workshop in the “De-ICE-olation” Online Artist Workshop Series! On Friday, April 3rd , between 2:00 and 3:00pm (EDT), award-winning throatsinger from Silla + Rise, Charlotte Qamaniq, gave a one-hour long introductory workshop to throatsinging for beginners. This workshop was open to Inuit only, including children (provided they are accompanied by an adult on camera).

The workshop took place online using Zoom. This workshop, like every De-ICE-olation workshop, is free.

She is now based in Ottawa with her two children.
