On Friday, March 24 from 2-3:30 pm ET, the talented Caroline Blechert (Creations for Continuity) and Inuk Trennert (Inuk360) will be dropping in to share their deeply inspiring stories of taking their vision to the next level, and advice from their own experiences of nurturing their brand over the years in order to find meaningful ways to connect their artwork with people around the world. They’ll be covering a range of key topics including things like setting goals, responding to the unexpected, juggling other life commitments, building partnerships, and more!

Caroline Blechert is an award-winning Inuvialuk artist from Yellowknife, NT who creates intricately beaded, geometric works under the name Creations for Continuity. She learned to bead at a young age and now merges contemporary design with these inspirations from her roots to produce unique works. More recently, Blechert has expanded her practice to include photography. This aspect of her work has evolved through the blog Tea & Bannock, which she considers a way “to express thoughts and culture and identity while living in an urban environment.”

Inuk Trennert is an Inuvialuk multidisciplinary designer. An educator and advocate for the use of sustainability harvested arctic furs (she is the daughter of a man who was a wildlife officer) and inspirational speaker. Through lived experience Inuk is a strong advocate of breaking the silence on domestic violence, mental health, bullying and MMIW. Inuk is also a 3rd generation Indian residential school survivor, a knowledge keeper, a plus size model, a social media creator and a role model. Inuk was born, raised and continues to live in the Northwest Territories, Canada.
